I remember when covid hit, we were stuck in great lakes longer than expected. I got sent to japan and didnt get to go home for a year and a half. When my leave got accepted i planned with my stepdad and my best friend to not only surprise my mom, but my friends and family. When i was on the plane ride home it felt so surreal. Getting to pittsburg international and catching a bus to a town over, then having my buddy drive me to my house. I planned on surprising my mom on her birthday (i arrived two days prior) but DFW lost one of my luggage xd so I had to do it earlier than expected. The moment i walked through the front doors to my house, seeing my moms surprised look, at the time i didnt cry, but a memory ill hold onto forever. When i posted on my snap story the same night, all my high school friends all but ran to my house. Hugging every single one of them finally made me break and cry. I was only in the navy three years, but even still, im proud i answered that call

All I keep thinking about is the pigs running the military industrial complex, and their greed cauusing these excellent young people to risk their ives. And for what?M So Black Rock and Boeing and Lockheed Martin and all the rest get richer. it is disgusting. Kudos to these excellent people who won the bet.
